Training wk of 8/19


8/19
Sleep not ideal.  Unexpectedly ended up coaching 5-7a classes. 
Training squeezed in during 30 min window 930-10a
AM
A. Clean - build to a max in 8 min
Virtually included warm up in 8 min as well
85, 105, 125, 145, 160 (vid starts), 170, F@180, F@175. Struggled to get jazzed for this session.

6 S2O - weight you'll use for 2 ton event-85lbs
20 double unders

PM
A. High Hang Power Clean - build to a max
140, Fx2@145




B. TnG DL practice - build to 205# for sets you'll use in comp
Did set of 9, 10, 9, 11, 9 for 48 total. Speed felt good. (Vid of last 2 sets)



C. GH Raises @21X2; 4-5 x 3, rest 60 sec
5x15lbs, 25lbs, 4x30lbs

Done.  Significantly more physical/mental effort than it took to hit the 1:59s.  


PM
A. CGBP- build to a max
145, F @ 150.  This either equals or betters previous by 5lbs. It equals my incline bench. 
B. Wtd dip - build to a 2RM
Started around 18lbs and built gradually.  My shoulders felt funny after the bench and I didn't feel as stable here as last week-particularly going into bottom of dip. I had slight fear that my arms would give out and that I wouldn't catch my feet in time.  Didn't attempt more than the 53lbs which equals what I did for 3 last wk.

mobility-Went to 90 minute yoga class in PM.  Didn't sleep deep after, but good energy on Thursday despite.   Joe Taft is awesome! The mindfulness piece of this class was the idea of what do you bring to the world...
