121231-130102 Fran & Press PRs!


31-Dec monday
AM
A. Back squat w/ chains 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2; rest 2 min
140, 135, 135, 135, 135, 135. Anything over 135lbs felt like I was grinding.

First ub Fran.  3:09. Lost BF kip at 14 of first 21 pullups.  Almost came off bar, but received specific instructions from Amber that all I had to do was ub thrusters & pullups.  So hung on & did standard kip.  Transitions felt better than usual for me, but the bit of video coverage I have doesn't confirm as much.  9s improvement from September.  Baby steps. :)

A. Speed Deadlift @60% 1RM; 3 reps x15 @11X1; rest 45 sec done @ 163lbs. felt good. 
B. Hang power snatch; build to a tough single fast. 83, 93, 98, 103, 108, 113, 118F.  C. sled pull throughs; 10-12/setx3; rest 2 min Put 25lbs on sled. Felt extremely awkward.

100x3, 105x2, 110x1, 105x3PB, 110x2PB, 115x1 PB! 


B. 50 ring push ups for time   halfway in 90s, 4:22 for 50.  15, 4, 3, 3, 2s all the way with 1 single  at 48 & a double to finish. Did chest to deck.

C. 100 turkish get ups for time - 1.25 pd
One miss per side...on the left at rep #30 & on the right at #73. Both times when I was almost down to the floor.  Did the extra two at the end to make it a completed 100 reps. 
"Trust the process" was all I could positively think during this experience with TGUs.  My left 4th & 5th digit went numb with 12 reps to go and remained numb for 2-4 hours after.  Forearm on the left has giving me fits since, but nothing major.
