Saturday 120602 Snatch Balance 1RM

Some beers following the 5k last night.  The dark kind with the B vitamins.  haha

A. Build to a 1rm snatch balance
Have never done this heavy & haven't done it at all in probably two years.  Started at 65lbs & went up by 10lbs each set.  At 115lbs I fell on my butt on the first attempt but then straighter it out.  Started going up by 5lbs at this point.  Made it through 130lbs & then failed at 135lbs.  Decided to call it there.  


The titles are all off on these videos.  The 120 is the 115, 125 is 120, 130 is 125lbs & 135lbsF is the 130lbs.  I messed up the uploading on my phone.  

 
 
B. Build to a 1rm hang squat clean

Didn't have it here today.  Felt flat out of squat.  Could have probably done more with HPC.  In time I'll get that squat.  

C1. Push press @31x2, 6-8x3; rest 2 min
This tempo was horrible!  Did 8x83lbs first two rounds & then went to 73lbs for last as was getting tough to control.  My overhead position felt (& looked) from start.  Couldn't get my shoulders to elevate. C2. CTB chin ups amrap (-2) x3; rest 2 min
Missed the 2 min rest after the first set of PP but did it for 2nd & 3rd set.  Went something like 13, 15, 20 (see video).  Obviously I do not know where my AMRAP -2 truly is if I was getting more over each. 


D. Powell raises @40x0, 10-12x3/arm; rest 1 min bw arms
finished this later in the morning after coaching. 
12x8lbs, 12x8lbs, 12x10lbsB.  Tough!
