3/14/14 Burpees/Power Snatches

Dogs forking. 



Sleep not great.  Made the mistake of seeing the workout before bed.  Probably asleep by 10ish-up at 4a. Coached 5&6a. Training @ 7:30-fasted. 830 gym visit, coached ID 11-1230.   Meant to eat, brought food, but never got to it.  Energy low.

Felt fatigued and low on carbs.  Glad this was written as an 80% effort.  

Mid-morning 1-arm Farmer's Carry work.  
1x 40m @ 50lbs
2 x 40m @ 60lbs
2 x 40m @ 65lbs 
+ 3x3 MU EMOM. 
Farmer's carries are feeling better and better.  Maintained similar loads to last couple of days, but went longer distance today. 
MUs felt solid afterwards. Haven't done any MUs in about 10 days so good for my mind to knock out a few.  Flying high on first pull. 



Lazy afternoon.  Not able to fall asleep, but restful.  Struggling to throw back the food.  
Good energy despite being tired.  Meaning I'm happy even though feeling run down....sometimes really struggle to feel good if tired.  Swollen glands & sore throat.

15 burpees to 6" reach 3:40
10 power snatch 110# 4/3/3 TnG felt good here! 
10 burpees to 6" reach 
amrap power snatch 120# had 1 minute once weights were adjusted. 6 reps.  3-4 were power snatches the rest squat snatches.  120 is my old power snatch 1RM.  Probably not accurate.  :)
