9/5-7 TnG Squat Clean Thruster 2RM + BS in 8 min + 90 WBs + Rest Day Hike

9/5
PM
A. Back Squat @30X2 2x6 sets with tight bands and 25#/side; rest 2:30
Done. I don't think I'm getting enough tension on the bands.
B. Squat Clean thruster - build to a 2RM
95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 145 F on overhead of 2nd rep

rest 2 min
C. 1 squat clean thruster every 30 sec @90% of B for 10 min
135 felt solid so I did 90% based off a potential 140x2 and used 125lbs. Felt really good here. Not a problem to do reps every 30s.

9/6
AM
EMOM for 14 min
odd - 3 TnG power snatch 75% 1RM Done w/95lbs. Not feeling very poppy today. Hips feel tired.
even - 30 sec max handstand walk Took until about round 5 to finally find a groove here. 15', 10', 10', 7', 24', 24', 24'
+
EMOM for 14 min
odd - 8 kb swings 1.5pd Done. Smooth. Grip is sore.
even - 12 air squats Done. ~ 12s each time.

PM
run 400m @90%
rest 1:45
x7
About two hours after AM
Legs feelign really heavy.
1 warm-up at 1:54 then...
1. 1:42
2. 1;38
3. 1:41
4. 1:38
5. 1:41
6. 1:38
7. 1:41
Same course as last week. Straight out around 3 90 deg turns and then would come back the same way.

9/7
AM
A. Back Squat - build to a max in 8 min
165, 185, 205, 215, F @ 220

+
90 wall balls 14# to 10ft for time
4:00. Splits 30, 5, 5, 5, (1:58 at halway) 8, 7, 7, 9, 14. During the last 14 I told myself, "Pretend this matters for something. Show that you CAN. Keep deciding to catch, squat, throw....one rep at a time over and over...done!...That wasn't so bad." :) Learning more and more that I'm getting to a point or perhaps I'm at a point where it's now a matter of continually deciding to "do work" and keep reaching for one more rep again and again.
Burning in the shoulders was my biggest limiter.

PM
8 min amrap:
15m single arm farmer's walk L heavy
15m single arm farmer's walk R heavy
10 log push press
95lbs for FW.
Empty log is 65lbs. These were really tough, but definitely what I need for some mid-back strength/mobility.
Complete 5 sets + 5 PP.

9/8
Off
Lots of morning programming plus a delicious breakfast...sometimes I can successfully multi-task, but only with lots of timers to remind me that something is cooking! :)

Hike at John's Rock. 3 hours 15 minutes. Felt good.
